Ever since I was 10, when my dad bought our first VHS camcorder, I have been fascinated by capturing images. These little slices of time, frozen, always seemed to be supernatural, calling our attention to what we usually miss each moment.
Most of my life has been dedicated to some form of visual art from graphic design and programming to photography and video. In real life I am a multimedia artist working with any interactive media but my alter ego is a risk taking photographer who loves to create images using lighting in new & creative ways.
I work in many genres of photography but mainly concentrate on photojournalism and architectural photography. Regardless of the photography style I always make use of creative lighting. For example melding documentary photography with fashion style lighting for a creative but daring look.
I work with many non profit organizations as a photojournalist and designer. I’ve been lucky enough to travel to New Orleans to document the Katrina recovery effort and places as far away as Haiti to cover the start of new programs for UNEP (United Effort for the Poor). Probably the best part of my job are the people and personalities I meet. The stories they share and the time I spent with them are priceless.
One of my life long passions is architectural photography. Along with my many years in interactive media I decided it would be the perfect match for all my skills to open itour-it, an architectural photography and virtual tour company. Our focus is creating virtual tours for commercial and residential realestate. Please visit our site at www.itour-it.com.
